Ashes, Answers, and Open Doors
On Ash Wednesday, Pastor Randy stood in front of our Garden Mission Baltimore building offering Ashes on the Go — a simple but powerful reminder that God created us, we have one life to live, and His grace, mercy, and compassion are always within reach.
Many neighbors walked by. A few paused. And some stopped long enough to share stories, receive prayer, and even speak about their own desire to turn back to God. In the middle of an ordinary sidewalk, holy moments unfolded.
Thank you for making those moments possible. Because of you, the message of hope is not confined to a church building — it’s meeting people right where they are.
And the momentum continues.
We are thrilled to share that we doubled our December year-end fundraising goal, raising over $50,000 that will be poured directly back into ministry for our neighbors in West Baltimore. Your generosity is not just meeting needs — it is creating space for transformation.
As if that weren’t enough, we have also been awarded a $150,000 grant to fully renovate our ministry space. This will allow us to create a welcoming café and community center designed to foster connection, dignity, and belonging.
God is moving. Doors are opening. And you are part of it.
Stay tuned for upcoming renderings of the new café & community center — we cannot wait to show you what’s coming next.
